- The red LED only comes on when the heater is actively producing heat. If the waterbed has been filled with warm or hot water, which we recommend, the heater will not turn on until the temperature has fallen below the dial setting.
- Check that there is power at the wall outlet.
- Slowly turn the dial to full power position (dial setting 7), but do not force the dial to spin past setting number 7 as this will break the dial and cause operating failure and circulate the water in the bed. If the waterbed is already warm the light will only turn on once the temperature of the waterbed has fallen below the dial setting.
